MEET OUR PASTOR

DR. LARRY M. GROVES

Larry M. Groves was born November 10, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Raised in a Christian home and a good independent Baptist church, he was born again on June 10, 1960, at the Ashland Avenue Baptist Church in Norwood, Ohio, under the ministry of Pastor Hershtle Mayfield. While a member of the Landmark Baptist Temple in Cincinnati, he surrendered to the call of God to preach the Gospel at the age of seventeen and began preaching on the street corners of Cincinnati, in youth rallies and youth revivals.

Educated at the Baptist Bible College of Springfield, Missouri, and later at the Gulf Coast Bible College and Seminary of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, he holds an earned master degree and doctor degree in Biblical Studies. He has started a church in Richmond, Kentucky, and pastored two others. Currently he is pastor of the Faith Baptist Church of Indianapolis, Indiana. He also is a former professor of personal evangelism, the Book of Romans, the Book of Hebrews, and frequent chapel speaker at the Fellowship Baptist College of Indiana.
